Best friends :)

Hi everyone,
another card I've made using coastal cabana! Again and baked brown sugar. Not colours I thought would work together but it seems they do!

Again I started with a square card blank and created a card base using  in colour DSP double sided paper pack,This time I chose the polka dot coastal cabana side to use on my card.
Then I cut a length of Baked brown sugar stretch ruffle ribbon and thread it through a small pearl ribbon slider before attaching it to the polka dot paper.
Then I cut up a paper doily to fit in top left hand corner of the card on which I attached a Baked brown sugar ruffle bow.
I then stamped  the best friend I've ever had from the label love clear stamp set, using the Baked brown sugar ink pad and cut it out using the matching artisan label punch and the I'm so grateful there's you in the world stamp from the chalk talk wooden stamp set in the same colour, them cutout using the large oval punch. I attached those to the card using dimensionals. And it's done!

Grateful card #1

Hi  everyone ,
Well I have finally got back into my craft room and had a chance to have a play with some of my new goodies !
I'm sure there will be much more to come but for now here it is.
The Card I made using the chalk talk wooden stamp set and matching framelits and punch.
I just love the coastal cabana cardstock and ink so I thought I would make a simple but cute card using those colours.
I hope you like it.

First I used a square card blank and created a card mat using coastal cabana DSP 12x12 paper , cut down to size. It's double sided and I chose the chevron side. I then tied a bow using white ribbon, which I attached to the middle of some coastal cabana cardstock. I then mat and layered paper and cardstock together.
Using Stampin'Up! Demensionals.
I felt it needed something at the bottom of the card front , so using some of my scrap cardstock I cut two really thin strips of coastal cabana using my Stampin'Up! Paper Trimmer and attached to the bottom of the card.
Then using the Chalk talk wooden stamp set, I used the I'm so grateful there's you in the world stamp. I stamped onto whisper white card using coastal cabana ink pad, I then used the matching large oval punch to punch it out. I then attached to card again using Stampin'Up! Dimensionals, finally I finished of the card by putting a few white coloured gems in the top right hand corner of the card.

All of the highlighted in  BOLD items can be bought through my link to my online store page.

Busy weekend,now back to reality!

Well had a very busy weekend, Friday I picked up my mum from the station as she had travelled down to see us from kent. I also got my first proper Stampin'Up! Order delivered by the lovely ups man, which I was super excited about!  I managed to open it at 9pm Friday night and was I've the moon with the quality if all the products I had ordered.
I was itching to go and spend some time in the craft room but I couldn't :(
So all weekend I spent entertaining my mother and taking her out to different place and finally this morning, we dropped her off at the airport for her three week trip to sunny Spain. We left the house at 3 am ! And I was back home in bed by 5am..
So I am going to try and get some crafting in today before the tiredness takes over. So you can expect some projects photos to be posted very soon.
